Moniker is a Corporate Retreat Planning Agency, focused on helping companies connect with their teams through imaginative corporate retreats and incentive trips around the globe. Brightly Software is a Siemens company, backed by a global technology leader in digital transformation and sustainable growth.

This company approached me to create a visual identity for a retreat to Cabo San Lucas. They wanted a distinct visual identity that felt celebratory and destination-specific, like classic 1950’s vacation magazines, while somehow remaining connected to Brightly’s existing brand. I began by researching 1950’s typography, colour palettes, and patterns through various print materials from the 1950s, as well as tropical destination designs.
Custom Logos
I developed a vintage 1950’s visual system, with retro typography that still felt modern, a bright colour palette, and logo sets (primary, secondary, and an illustrative mark) to evoke leisure, warmth, and classic tropical travel aesthetics. To remain connected to Brightly’s existing brand, as well as feel unique and playful, I incorporated their “B” logo as coconuts into the palm tree illustration.
This visual system required a variety of print deliverables including agenda booklets, travel guides, name tags, room notes, and more, as well as digital assets, so ensuring consistency across touchpoints was extremely important. The final identity system balanced retro, bright, and playful character with clarity and legibility through clean layout design, typography, and colour palette. This system also included a few illustrative assets to act as a background and pattern for various collateral.
